Almost a decade ago the concept of Ahvor was created when founder Portia Gana dreamt of a physical and online space where all the unique made in Ghana goods she loved could be accessible globally. After years of baby steps, test runs, sourcing, and pop ups, Ahvor Atelier emerged!

Fabric being the focal point of the goods, the Ewe(a Ghanaian tribe) word for fabric, Ahvor was chosen.

Atelier being a creative space, Ahvor Atelier directly translates as a fabric creative space. Each fabric used for every item sold is handpicked by the founder, making each item exclusive and personal.

The market place won’t be limited to just apparel but rather any and everything that can be imagined with vibrant african prints. From home decor to tech accessories we plan on making Ahvor Atelier your one-stop-shop for all your unique made in Ghana handcrafted desires.
